Ford's Recycle your Ride program is back

If you have an old car and you’re currently shopping for a new one, Ford has a good deal for you. Starting this October, customers who trade in a vehicle for recycling will receive up to $3,000 toward the purchase or lease of a new Ford.

According to Ford, more than 50,000 cars have been traded in and recycled since 2009, when the Recycle your Ride was offered for the first time.

“It’s a win-win-win for the consumer, the economy and the environment,” said David Mondragon, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “I am proud to say that Ford of Canada has helped to recycle more vehicles than any other auto manufacturer”.

To qualify for the Recycle your Ride program, you must visit a Ford dealer with your 2005 or older vehicle that has been properly registered or insured for the last three months to confirm your eligibility. The vehicle must be in running order. Of course, you must purchase a new Ford vehicle. The incentive will be applied to the purchased vehicle, over and above all other current rebates and promotions.
